LINBIT is a block-storage software company that had lots of content and ideas but lacked expert SEO copywriting to attract the audience it deserved. I have worked with LINBIT since the end of 2021, and am happy to say that we have been constantly growing and getting better results throughout my time.
My input ensured the company implemented excellent practices to ensure long-term benefits. My role was to improve the quality of the writing across the LINBIT website, blog posts, social posts, and marketing material. This included newsletters and all written communication for various events that the team attended.
Pageview Increase vs Previous Year
One of the standout results of 2022 was the general increase in pageviews. They rose to 150% higher than the previous year:

Doubling the Pageviews in my first few months
I feel that this data shows how successful my SEO practices were. Pageviews were stagnating at around a steady 5k before I began working with LINBIT towards the end of 2021. After implementing SEO to current and previous articles, the pageviews had doubled by February 2022. I don’t credit this entirely to SEO, however. The most powerful way to ensure that articles are read, shared, and enjoyed is by improving the quality of the writing. I rewrote every post completely, altering content the content and style along with the SEO.

SEO Copywriting (Blog)
I rewrote and optimized the SEO for every post in 2022, although the public author credit stays solely with LINBIT’s internal team. This helped the author grow in stature within the industry, turning them into industry thought leaders. LINBIT is extremely active in the community, regularly attending and hosting events. This openness is part of the company’s DNA. They create ‘open-source’ software. Therefore, anything I could do to raise the team’s profile was a major benefit to the company.
The blog became one of the most successful pages of the website. It was consistently the 2nd most viewed page on the website. The success is an achievement when considering the popularity of its user, tech, and installation guides.

2023: Further Optimisation & SEO Success
The beginning of 2023 saw another steep increase in page views. Organic traffic rose considerably: (purple vs orange) in the graph below.

We decided to target a highly valuable and specific industry search term – Kubernetes. We doubled Google impressions from 2022, clearly demonstrating that Google is treating LINBIT as a real force in the Kubernetes conversation.


Finally, the average time a visitor spent on one blog page tripled from 1 minute to 3 minutes.
