My colleagues at Waaark – whose portfolio content I created – created an animation plugin for developers and hired me for the website content for the homepage, https://luge.cool/, having an input on the luge brand and design of the site. Creating website content for this exciting new brand was enjoyable; I think that shows in the result.

Creating Brutalist Website Content
We went for a Brutalist design, feeling it would resonate with the audience. It was a design that showcased the plugin in action, with the site being created by it. Because of the brutal nature of the site, the brand developed a bold tongue with its playful personality. This led the way for using the word ‘uncreative’ at the top of the site.

The copy is clear throughout the website. We are introducing a new product to people. They must understand what we’re saying. But there is urgency in the copy too. This project wants to get attention and to make some noise. We were creating website content that had a job to do!

Writing and Recording a Video Script
I wrote a video script and recorded the voice-over to launch a new animator plugin for luge.
This project was a natural extension of the initial copywriting project. We were introducing a new technical service to people. We needed to create something that made an impact and that people could easily understand.
