Webbiz is a global web agency that was suffering from an identity crisis in 2023. The website copy was a patchwork combination of efforts from a previous copywriting and managing director. They had created the website content hastily and without a clear direction.
When I was asked to rewrite the copy, I ensured Webbiz would never have this problem again. With Creative Technical Director Antoine Wodniack, we determined the core principles of the brand and took the time to understand the ideal Webbiz customer.
Webbiz is a global web agency that creates websites that generate leads for clients in predominantly four industries.
The homepage presents a clear description of the central Webbiz services. Each description is followed by a CTA that invites the reader to view the designated page for each service.
The designated service pages include the unique Webbiz process and links to relevant case studies and blog posts. I should mention here that this approach enabled me to implement a targeted SEO strategy for each service, which the ongoing case studies and blog posts would continue to support.
Webbiz Case Studies
The Webbiz case studies are concise, visual, and focused on data. In our target audience research, we learned that our clients don’t want long accounts of the project. They’re more interested in WHAT we achieved for a business than HOW. The case studies still tell the project story, but the focus is on the business goals that Webbiz helped achieve for its clients.

Let’s take a look at two examples of my vision for the new Webbiz blog.
1 – Attention Startups: 11 Benefits of Partnering with a Web Agency
I identified ‘Startups’ as an excellent target audience for Webbiz, observing that many of their clients were startups. One of the biggest challenges when working with startups, however, is that they sometimes feel the need to take on more responsibility. They can fail to engage with a web agency early in their process, which is when it’s most beneficial.
2 – How We Use Workshops to Help Our Clients Succeed
Due to my ability to facilitate workshops to help align clients on strategy and make better decisions quicker, I published a blog post that communicated the advantages to clients. I wanted to embed a culture of strategy into the team at Webbiz. In my role as strategist, I wanted the team’s work to be executed with good reasons that aligned with the client’s business goals.
